Company history and foundation.
Successes & development
For 55 years, HEDELIUS has had only one goal: to increase the economy of single-part and small-series production of machines, tools and vehicle construction. Over 247 engineers, software developers, mechatronics engineers and mechanics work daily to make CNC machining centres more productive and reliable. True to the HEDELIUS mission: "Technology that pays", whereby the success factors of ergonomics, productivity and precision are top priorities throughout the development and manufacturing process. With over 3,000 machining centres delivered to date, HEDELIUS can proudly count itself among Europe’s leading manufacturers.
Made in Germany.
For generations, the name HEDELIUS has stood for forward-looking, responsible and future-oriented action. That's why the family business has received the CrefoZert creditworthiness certificate from Creditreform Leer since December 2016. An equity ratio of 70 percent is evidence of outstanding financial stability.
Products & services

ACURA series
The ACURA series was developed to enable complex workpieces to be machined not only with high precision, but also reliably and quickly in 5 axes. The modern travelling column concept is just as impressive in high-productivity parts production as it is in performance machining. The type of ACURA with a constant vertical axis eliminates the disadvantages of many conventional machining centres and ensures better accuracy and higher cutting performance. Thanks to its small dimensions, an ACURA can also be integrated into almost any production facility. A large sliding door and the low machine bed height provide perfect access to the rotating/swivelling table of the 5-axis machining centre. This makes it easier to set up and control the machining process for single parts and small series production. The stainless steel cover and vertical cladding in the work area ensure exemplary chip fall and reduce the amount of cleaning required. Crane loading is possible without restriction.

TILTENTA series
The high-performance machining centres in the TILTENTA series release many machining tasks in mechanical engineering, tool and mould making, shaft and roller machining and the aerospace industry. On the one hand, the large work area with the infinitely variable swivelling main spindle allows vertical machining of long workpieces up to 6000 kg. On the other hand, precise 5-sided machining of parts weighing up to 1800 kg in oscillation mode is also possible thanks to the integrated NC rotary table and a work area partition. The machining centres impress with vertical stainless steel covers for optimum chip fall and a fully encapsulated work area as standard.

MARATHON series
A proven concept for greater productivity offers a combination of a compact HEDELIUS 5-axis machining centre and beginner-friendly MARATHON automation. Our in-house pallet handling systems really come into their own when manufacturing repeat parts or small to medium series. Perfectly harmonised with each other, this combination is particularly impressive thanks to its consistent operating concept. Discover our diverse automation solutions which, in combination with your ACURA machining centre, lead to an increase in productivity, improved delivery reliability and relief for your employees.

FORTE series
The FORTE series of CNC milling machines represents modern, vertical 3-axis machining centers with a traveling column design, offering high stability and machining performance. Developed for machining large and heavy workpieces, these machines impress with their smooth running and consistent accuracy, even under maximum load. The FORTE series particularly excels with long and bulky workpieces such as crossbeams, shafts, profiles, or welded structures. The generous Z-axis travel and robust construction make them a reliable solution for single-part and small-batch production. Features such as the heavy-duty, fixed machine table, the fully enclosed work area, a vertical stainless steel cover for controlled chip flow, and high-capacity tool magazines underscore the practical design of these machines. The FORTE series comprises various models to meet diverse manufacturing requirements. The FORTE 7/9/10/11 long-bed machining centers are designed for machining large and long workpieces, while the more compact FORTE 50/65/85 models offer an economical solution for precise machining of smaller parts.
