TILTENTA MILLTURN: Milling and turning impresses at HEDELIUS in-house exhibition

At the HEDELIUS in-house trade fair 2026 in Meppen, HEDELIUS Maschinenfabrik GmbH presented its new TILTENTA MILLTURN milling-turning machining center to the public for the first time. This concept met with great interest from the trade visitors.

“With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, we are strategically expanding our portfolio to include a solution for combined turning and milling,” explains Managing Director Dennis Hempelmann. “Our goal was to offer users an economical way to consolidate machining processes, reduce non-productive time, and simultaneously increase process reliability.”

Complete machining in a single setup as the central concept.

The TILTENTA MILLTURN enables the continuous machining of demanding workpieces without machine changes. The integration of a high-performance NC rotary table with a rotary function allows different machining steps to be combined into a stable process. This significantly reduces reclamping operations, which has a positive impact on accuracy and cycle times. Users particularly benefit from continuous machining without reclamping when working with components requiring extensive turning, thus minimizing potential sources of error in the manufacturing process.

High-performance rotary table for demanding applications.

A key element of the new machine is the integrated NC rotary table with a diameter of 900 mm and speeds of up to 500 rpm. Designed for workpieces up to 1,200 kg, it offers the necessary stability and dynamics for demanding turning operations. A liquid-cooled torque drive ensures high performance and precision, even in continuous turning processes. Combined with HEDELIUS' proven tilting spindle technology, this results in a versatile machining center suitable for both complex individual parts and small to medium-sized production runs.
