5-axis milling and turning of complex workpieces in one setup

The TILTENTA 9-2600 MILLTURN combines 5-axis milling and integrated turning in a single machining centre. It enables the complete machining of complex workpieces in one setup, reducing reclamping operations, non-productive times and potential process risks while improving accuracy and process reliability.

At the heart of the machine is an integrated NC rotary table with a diameter of 900 mm and a turning speed of up to 500 rpm. Workpieces weighing up to 1,200 kg and with an interference diameter of up to 1,250 mm can be machined. The machine offers travel ranges of 2,600 × 900 × 900 mm and a swivel range of up to ±98°.

The combination of a powerful milling spindle and integrated turning function allows milling and turning contours to be completed in one continuous process. The spindle provides up to 15,000 rpm and 50 kW, creating the conditions for flexible machining of large and complex component geometries.

A major advantage is that workpieces remain in a stable clamping position throughout the machining process. This eliminates repeated setup operations, shortens lead times and supports consistently high component quality.
