Two machines, one goal: Highest productivity.
With around 60 employees at its Dillenburg, Hesse location, SIBA Metallverarbeitungs GmbH has been a reliable partner for a wide range of industries for over 60 years. The family-run company has evolved from a traditional supplier to a systems partner, offering an exceptionally broad range of services. From machining, flexible sheet metal processing, and welded assemblies, to anodizing, electroplating, and painting, as well as warehouse logistics and on-demand deliveries, customers receive everything from a single source. A company with such a comprehensive offering must be highly flexible in its production. That's why SIBA has relied on machining centers from HEDELIUS for many years. Currently, the company uses two automated systems that ensure maximum precision, unmanned operation, and short response times: the ACURA 65 EL with PROMOT automation and the ACURA 65 MARATHON with MARATHON SR422 pallet storage. Two systems that complement each other perfectly. Not every workpiece has the same machining requirements. While many components require high-precision 5-sided machining with automation, there are also parts that can be machined in a single setup. This is precisely where the strength of the combination at SIBA becomes apparent. "We want as much unmanned time as possible; we want the machines to run and communication to be seamless," emphasizes Benjamin Herbert, Head of Machining Production. For complex geometries and unmanned series production, they rely on the ACURA 65 EL with PROMOT Promro. Here, components up to 250 millimeters are machined flexibly in all three axes. Automated loading by the robot cell ensures long machine run times, even during shift breaks or overnight. Right next door, the ACURA 65 MARATHON with the MARATHON SR422 pallet storage system handles workpieces that require different machining steps.
