TILTENTA series

Flexible 5-axis machining of long and heavy workpieces with swiveling spindle, rotary table and long travel distances.

The TILTENTA series stands for flexible and precise 5-axis machining of long, large and heavy workpieces. The combination of moving-column design, continuously swivelling main spindle, long machine table and integrated NC rotary table enables both full 5-axis machining and 3-axis machining across the entire table area.

With X-axis travel ranges from 2,000 to 6,200 mm, the TILTENTA is suitable for long and bulky workpieces, multiple clamping and pendulum machining. Large plates, frames, crossbeams, shafts, profiles, welded constructions, tools and fixtures can be machined just as efficiently as complex cubic 5-axis workpieces.

The continuously swivelling milling spindle enables, among other things, end-face machining of long workpieces as well as angled drilling and surface machining. Depending on the model, integrated heavy-duty rotary tables are available with interference diameters of up to 1,450 mm and workpiece weights of up to 2,200 kg.

For economical production, the working area can optionally be divided into two independent sections by a partition wall, enabling pendulum machining. Selected models can also be equipped with two integrated rotary tables for 5-axis pendulum machining.

Integrated zero-point clamping systems reduce non-productive times, while additional T-slots maintain flexibility. A large door opening, a cabin roof that opens together with the door, and easy crane loading ensure ergonomic access to the working area.

The TILTENTA is therefore particularly suitable for high-mix single-part and small-batch production as well as for companies with a wide variety of components.
