ACURA series

Compact 5-axis machining with high precision, optimal access to the work area and high power density.

The ACURA series stands for compact, precise and powerful 5-axis machining on a small footprint. The machining centres are designed for the economical production of single parts, small batches and automated manufacturing tasks, and can machine workpieces with an interference diameter of up to 900 mm and a weight of up to 1,000 kg.

The rigid machine design, double-supported rotary-swivel table, high-precision drives and linear measuring systems ensure high accuracy and reliable machining results. Positioning accuracy of less than 6 μm in the linear axes according to ISO 230-2 and circular deviation of less than 8 μm in the X-Y plane according to ISO 230-4 are achieved.

Powerful, liquid-cooled spindles enable the machining of demanding materials and complex geometries. Large tool magazines and loading and unloading during machining support efficient setup processes.

The ACURA series is also designed for automation. ACURA EL models feature a side loading opening and preconfigured interfaces for pallet and robot systems from various manufacturers. At the same time, the working area remains accessible for setup, inspection and single-part production.

Large sliding doors, a low machine bed height, unrestricted crane loading, optimized chip removal and easily accessible maintenance areas support ergonomic and efficient operation.
