Screen Printing

High layer thickness, strong opacity, durable marking – screen printing for demanding industrial applications.

Brilliant colors, high opacity, and durable marking. When industrial markings not only need to look good but also withstand daily use, screen printing is a proven solution. MWIB prints components made of metal, plastic, and glass precisely and permanently. In screen printing, the ink is transferred directly onto the surface through a fine-mesh screen using a squeegee. The comparatively thick layer of ink enables excellent opacity, intense colors, and high durability. Depending on the application and ink system used, prints can be produced that meet high demands for abrasion, chemical, and weather resistance. Typical applications include: • Front panels and housings • Scales, symbols, and functional markings • Signs and displays • Optical and technical components • Logos and product markings. Especially with industrial products, screen printing combines function and design: Information remains clearly legible, while colors, logos, and operating elements can be precisely implemented according to customer specifications. A particular advantage at MWIB is the combination of various manufacturing processes. For example, components can first be pre-treated and painted or powder-coated and then printed. Laser marking, engraving, and pad printing are also available as alternative or complementary marking methods. This way, you don't just get a print, but a marking tailored to the component, material, and operating conditions. Looking for a permanent marking for your component? Bring a sample or drawing to FMB – we'll show you which method is suitable.
