Precision vibratory finishing for the finest surfaces, defined edges and reproducible results.

Precision vibratory finishing – when surface and edge quality matter. Removing burrs, precisely rounding edges, and refining surfaces: MWIB uses precision vibratory finishing to process demanding components in a controlled and reproducible manner. This process is particularly suitable for workpieces where a uniform surface quality and defined edges are crucial for further function or subsequent manufacturing steps. By precisely adjusting the grinding media, processing fluids, process time, and other parameters, the process is tailored to the specific component and the desired result. Depending on the requirements, precision vibratory finishing can remove burrs, round sharp edges, reduce machining marks, and smooth surfaces or prepare them for subsequent processes. The process is suitable for components made of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, copper, and brass, among other materials. MWIB processes both individual parts and small batches as well as recurring production runs. Typical applications: • Deburring after milling, turning, or stamping processes • Defined edge rounding • Smoothing and refining surfaces • Reducing machining marks • Preparation for coating and finishing processes. Our customers come from sectors including mechanical engineering, medical technology, precision mechanics, optics, and mechatronics. Another advantage of MWIB: After precision vibratory finishing, further processing steps such as painting, coating, laser marking, engraving, or printing can be carried out directly at our facility. Would you like to know what surface finish is achievable for your component? Bring a sample part or a drawing to the FMB trade fair. We will discuss the appropriate processing options with you.
