The Senergy-JST-B 24V combines a reliable motorized roller with an integrated holding brake. This provides machine builders with a compact drive solution for applications where loads need to be reliably held and unintentional movement prevented.

The integrated, spring-loaded brake is released by an electromagnet during normal operation. If the drive is switched off or the power supply is interrupted, the brake engages automatically, preventing further rotation of the motorized roller. This ensures that the conveyed goods remain reliably in position, even when the drive is no longer powered.

The Senergy-JST-B is particularly well-suited for applications with inclines and declines. Here, the holding brake prevents the transported load from rolling backward uncontrollably. It can also be used in automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to prevent containers from moving unintentionally due to their inertia. A significant advantage for machine builders: the integrated brake eliminates the need for an additional external braking mechanism.

The Senergy-JST-B is based on a robust mechanical design with a brushless 24V DC motor and a durable gearbox. With up to 50 W of mechanical power, high overload capacity, and IP54 protection, it is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Control is achieved via the compatible ConveyLinx-JST-B. The brake is automatically released with the drive command and reactivated during dynamic braking or in the event of a power interruption. This integrates the braking function into the motion sequence and simplifies operation.

For machine builders, this means: drive and holding brake in a single compact unit, for controlled movements, reliable holding, and simplified integration without an additional external braking mechanism.
