Gear Motor: PGD-IDC 24V

Compact 24V geared motor with integrated commutation: Flexible use with third-party controllers.

The Pulse Geared Drive-IDC is a compact and versatile 24V gearmotor with integrated commutation. Thanks to IDC technology, commutation is implemented directly within the motor, allowing the PGD-IDC to be used flexibly with compatible third-party controllers.

For machine builders, the PGD-IDC thus offers a high degree of integration flexibility. Via the 5-pin connector, the gearmotor can be integrated into existing control architectures, such as systems with analog 0–10 V control. This makes it particularly suitable for machine designs where manufacturer-independent control or the reuse of existing control technology is desired.

The compact design enables space-saving integration even in confined installation spaces. At the same time, the PGD-IDC features a robust and durable construction with a double-bearing output shaft and a brushless 24-V DC motor. Depending on requirements, versions with 2- or 3-stage gearboxes are available.

The PGD-IDC can replace traditional pneumatic or AC drives in numerous automation applications. Typical applications include pop-up wheels, belt drives, lifting applications in transfer units, or other applications where precise and controlled movements are required.

With up to 38 W of mechanical power and an IP54 protection rating, the PGD-IDC offers a reliable drive solution for industrial applications. A version for deep-freeze applications is also available.
