The Holding Brake Roller (HBR) is a mechanical holding brake roller for inclined and inclined conveyors. It complements Senergy-Ai motor rollers with a reliable, failsafe braking function and offers machine builders a compact solution for securely holding transported loads in position.

The spring-loaded mechanical holding brake operates on a failsafe principle: In the event of a power failure, the brake is automatically activated. This prevents packages or containers from rolling uncontrollably downhill or downhill in the event of a power outage or emergency stop. This ensures additional operational safety without the need to design and integrate a separate external braking solution. The HBR is not a driven motor roller, but a brake roller only. In combination with a Senergy-Ai motor roller and a ConveyLinx-Ai controller, it creates a coordinated drive solution for applications with increased demands on the secure holding of loads.

A particular advantage for machine builders is the simple integration: The HBR connects to a free motor port on a compatible ConveyLinx-Ai controller via a standardized M8 4-pin connector. No additional programming or configuration of the brake roller is required. This allows the braking function to be integrated into the machine concept without complex control system modifications.

With a fixed gear ratio of 18:1 and a high holding torque, the HBR is designed for a variety of applications. The robust mechanical design is based on the proven Senergy motor rollers. Depending on requirements, standard and wet-room versions as well as protection classes up to IP69K are also available. For machine builders, the HBR means: reliable mechanical holding function, easy integration, and added safety for incline and decline applications as part of a complete pulse roller drive concept.
