Flanges, rings and hubs often combine turning and milling operations in a single component. Precision bores and outer diameters, faces, bolt patterns, keyways, threads and mounting surfaces must all be accurately positioned in relation to one another.
BAAS manufactures these components to customer drawings, from one-off parts to small batches. We supply both individual requirements and repeat orders for industrial maintenance, production equipment and new machinery.
Depending on the design, production can include turning, milling, drilling, threading, keyway machining and grinding, together with coordinated heat and surface treatment. Flange diameters up to Ø920 mm can be machined.
Typical materials include structural, quenched and tempered, and tool steels, as well as stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, bronze and brass.
The components are supplied fully machined, inspected and ready for assembly or installation. Material traceability and measurement reports are available on request.
