About us

Precision machined parts and assemblies to drawing — reliable long-term supply for industrial plants.

For almost 30 years, BAAS has manufactured precision machined parts and assemblies to customer drawings — from one-off components to small batches.

We work primarily with industrial plants that need a reliable long-term manufacturing partner for maintenance and repeat supply. Our parts operate in rolling and cooling lines in steelworks, in rubber, paper and food-processing plants, and in other production equipment where downtime gets expensive.

We also manufacture precision parts and assemblies for new machinery. These projects can continue as spare-parts supply throughout the equipment’s service life.

We deliver finished parts, not isolated operations. Depending on the project, we coordinate material sourcing, turning, milling, boring, grinding, wire EDM, welding, heat and surface treatment, assembly, inspection, packaging and dispatch. The result is a finished component or assembly, ready for installation.

Demanding materials and material combinations are part of our daily work. One example is a 42CrMo4 bearing housing with internal cooling channels and a welded stainless-steel cover. These housings operate continuously on lines processing material at temperatures of up to 1,400 °C.

BAAS is a family-owned company with 25 employees. Work preparation, machining, welding, assembly and final inspection are handled by our team. Material traceability and measurement reports are available on request.

From April 2027, a new 5-axis machining centre will expand our capacity for complex components manufactured in a single setup.
