Bearing housings with internal cooling

42CrMo4 bearing housings with internal cooling and stainless-steel covers — engineered for continuous operation.

These internally cooled bearing housings are used in rolling and cooling lines where red-hot steel at process temperatures of up to 1,400 °C is transported and cooled on rollers. The integrated cooling circuit supports reliable continuous operation.

Each housing combines a 42CrMo4 body with internal cooling channels and a welded stainless-steel cover. Manufacturing requires several coordinated machining and welding operations, followed by precision finishing of the bearing seats, bores and functional surfaces. The cooling circuit is tested twice.

BAAS manufactures these housings to customer drawings, from one-off parts to small batches. They are delivered fully machined, inspected and ready to install. Material traceability and measurement reports are available on request.
