      The AGV gearboxes were developed specifically for use as wheel hub gearboxes in a wide variety of industrial trucks. This type of application fulfils the high requirements, such as a compact design and a direct connection to the application and the wheel to be driven. In order to achieve the best connection possible between the gearbox and servomotor, the AGV gearboxes have been integrated into our servomotor modular system with the tried-and-tested direct motor attachment. This results in units that are perfectly customised to the requirements of battery-powered vehicles. Direct integration allows both overall length and weight to be saved, which has a positive effect on the portable payload and the dimensions of the entire drive unit.       Zirkonium ist ein extrem korrosionsbeständiger Werkstoff. Sein kraftvoller Widerstand gegenüber äußeren Angriffen macht sich allerdings auch beim Entzundern bemerkbar: Das Strahlen erzeugt einen hochgefährlichen Funkenflug, Späne und Stäube sind leicht entflammbar. Dazu kommt gleißende Helligkeit – für Mitarbeiter auch mit Spezialsichtschutz unzumutbar. Auf der Suche nach einer für Mensch und Material verträglichen Lösung stieß ein Hersteller für Hochleistungswerkstoffe auf KST: Wir entwickelten für ihn eine vollautomatische Kabine zum Entzundern von Zirkoniumblechen. Darin können wir wöchentlich bis zu 500 Quadratmeter Material in Großformaten bis zu 2,50 mal 8,00 Meter entzundern. Reinheitsgrad SA 3 In der Regel strahlen große Hersteller im eigenen Werk. Unzählige sprühende Funken, hohe Brandgefahr, ein maximaler Blendfaktor und starke Staubentwicklung machen das bei Zirkonium unmöglich. Daher sind Outsourcing-Lösungen gefragt. Denn das Entfernen der durch Walz- und Wärmebehandlung entstandenen Zunderschicht der Legierung ist unerlässlich: Die gegenüber Säuren und alkalischen Lösungen resistenten Zirkoniumplatten benötigen ein maximales Reinigungsergebnis: in punkto Reinheit, Aussehen und Rauheit. Ziel ist der hohe Reinheitsgrad SA 3 – das sogenannte „White Metal Blast Cleaning. Automatik-Strahlanlage konzipiert Sein Team konzipierte mit Unterstützung eines Anlagenbauers eine kundenspezifische Automatik-Strahlanlage: Mit der innovativen sicheren Kabine entzundern die Experten auch großformatige Zirkoniumplatten. Die Technik arbeitet vollautomatisch, der gesamte Prozess ist abgeschirmt. Mitarbeiter steuern ihn von einem externen Bedienpult aus – über ein Sichtfenster haben sie den Ablauf im Blick. Alle Funken bleiben im feuerfesten Innenbereich. Eine spezielle Absaugeinrichtung sorgt dafür, dass keine schädlichen Zirkoniumstäube in die Werkhalle gelangen.
