      Ottemeier is a much sought-after specialist for the fast and reliable manufacturing of individual parts and small serial products, with contract machining for tools, fixtures and machinery components in the fields of milling and wire EDM. If in-house manufacturing should be out of the question, then we can provider our customers a convincing solution. We mill, measure and erode from the planning stage up to, and including, the finished component. Economical, precise and perfect. The spectrum of milling machines ranges from universal milling machines through to machining centres to 5-axis gantry milling centres with a table load-bearing capacity of 30 tons. For contract EDM, Ottemeier utilises modern CNC wire EDM centres which guarantee high-precision machining of components, also for large-dimensioned workpieces up to a height of 650 mm. With a 3-coordinate measuring machine, large parts up to a weight of 25 tons can be accurately measured and this with a measurement uncertainty of only 5 my+L/300 mm.

SAFETY IN THE SYSTEM The safety-related part in the entire system is operated by the Safety PLC, the Safety I/O module and the S6 / F6 Drive Controller. The safe data transfer takes place via Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE). COMBICONTROL C6 E22 / C6 P3x IPC control includes scalable processor performance in industrial PC technology for control cabinets as BOX-IPC, BOOK-MOUNTED-IPC or PANEL-IPC with integrated touch screen from 10.1” up to 24”.

      After the project planning, the manufacturing of the switchgears starts in our house. Since the construction of electrical control systems requires a high degree of experience and know-how, it is important to have a reliable partner at your side. All control systems are manufactured according to today's state of the art and in compliance with all current standards. Each plant is simulated and factory approved before delivery. All important measurements are carried out in the test stand with final logging of the relevant results.
