YOUR TASKS

You operate CNC-controlled gear grinding machines
You set up the CNC gear grinding machines, adjust grinding wheels, clamp and align the gear elements
You work according to drawings, protocols and our work plans
Create CNC programs taking into account the gear data, such as head and root relief, angle corrections, etc.
You create the required documents, such as gear protocols (profile, flank line and pitch protocol)
You maintain and service your CNC gear grinding machine
You check the machining result using various measuring devices

YOUR PROFILE

Your tasks

As our sales enthusiast, you are responsible for SMELA’s acquisition of new customers and of course you also maintain contacts with existing customers. As an assembly and production employee, you are responsible for SMELA’s future and the realization of our products at the heart of value creation. In close cooperation with the entire team, you can give free rein to your structured streak, but also continuously optimize processes and tools through foresight, train yourself further and grow together with us.

With us, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of parts and assemblies at several processing stations. You will set up and operate production systems, monitor processes and eliminate defined malfunctions. You will carry out mechanical and electrical measurements and, together with your future colleagues, plan the control of assembly processes and support the development of new tools.

TASKS

You manufacture precision drive elements based on drawings and work plans

You work in our precision parts production on various machining machines, which you assemble independently and with your team colleagues

You operate sawing, milling, centering, turning, broaching, shaping and grinding machines, among others

You equip the machines with the tools suitable for the workpiece

You set the production programs on NC and CNC machines

You check the manufactured parts to ensure that they comply with the specified dimensions

Your responsibilities include cleaning the machines and keeping the workplace clean

You work in a team

You learn to read drawings and evaluate 3D models

To ensure that you are optimally prepared for the exam, you take part in around 10 courses
