Fraunhofer IEM presents cobot for assembly testing of control panels

Another demonstrator was developed in the it’s OWL project ‘CogeP’ and is presented by Fraunhofer IEM. In this project, Fraunhofer IEM, together with Diebold Nixdorf and Verlinked, is developing versatile cobot-based test stations. A cobot is a collaborative robot that works together with humans and is not separated from them by protective devices. Cobots are also characterized by simple and intuitive teach-in and programming functions. The cobot is to support Diebold Nixdorf in the real-money testing of ATMs and the assembly testing of control panels on ATMs.
