The enclosure is available in various sizes and is characterized by a high degree of protection of IP66, which guarantees complete protection against dust and water. This makes the Elbe polyester series ideal for use in harsh environments. With an impact resistance of IK08, the enclosure is extremely resistant to mechanical impact, while the high dielectric strength of 18 kV/mm makes it particularly suitable for high-voltage applications. Available in the colors Fehgrau (RAL7000) and Graphite Black (RAL9011), the enclosure of the Elbe polyester series meets the requirements of flammability class V0 according to UL94 and is halogen-free. The material is designed for extreme temperatures from -40 to +80 °C and therefore guarantees high stability and safety in a wide range of environments.
