WIKUS receives the research seal “Innovative through research” from the promotion association

Spangenberg 14.07.2020: After the years 2014, 2016 and 2018, WIKUS-Sägenfabrik Wilhelm H. Kullmann GmbH & Co. KG now receives the research seal “Innovative through research” for the fourth time in a row, which is awarded by the Association for the Promotion of German Science and Humanities for research and development work.

The promotion association awards this seal to companies which, through their research and development, make a decisive contribution to the high-tech location Germany as drivers of innovation.

“This award shows that we, as a technology leader in the industry of saw blade manufacturers, carry out excellent research and development and develop sawing solutions for our customers involving the whole sawing process with constant innovations and further developments”, emphasises Dr. Ing. Patrick Gleim, Head of Research and Development. “We are delighted to have received this award for the fourth time in a row”.

Every year, WIKUS-Sägefabrik invests millions in research and development in order to maintain and expand its technological leadership and develop customer and market-oriented solutions. In addition to in-house research and development, WIKUS cooperates with numerous partners, such as universities, research institutes and suppliers.
