MARATHON® M42

The all-rounder for smaller and large cross-sections Now even more efficient and extra high-quality! The MARATHON® M42 is the ultimate economic band saw blade and stands for a broad application spectrum at a consistently high quality. The high-quality features of MARATHON are now even more flexible thanks to the expansion of the product range, for use with smaller diameters and profiles to large full materials. Thanks to further development, the proven product characteristics have been optimised even further; MARATHON® M42 also has a superior looking, shiny and smooth surface as a result of our Superfinishing. PROFLEX® M42

The perfect band saw blade for profiles WIKUS continues to sharpen its profile with the new PROFLEX® M42 bimetal band saw blade for processing profiles and girders. Thanks to the special profile tooth and also the extended connection of cutting material and carrier band, the PROFLEX® M42 is extremely sturdy. The innovative production procedure not only extends the service life of the carrier band, it also reduces the risk of a broken band. The superfinishing on the cutting edge of the teeth and the chip space enhances performance, reduces noise emission and the formation of burr, and also improves the cutting surface. The versatile option in Level-1 for small and medium-sized workpieces With PRIMAR® M42 WIKUS is also setting standards in the bimetal Level-1 segment. The innovative production process guarantees good product properties and a good blade-life - and all of this with a versatile range of applications. The cost per cut can be reduced, thanks to the high degree of process reliability. As a result of the superfinish, the optimised contours on the tooth cutting edges produce improved cutting surfaces.
