Production Work Preparation / Calculation (m/f/d) Full-time

Brief Overview
In this position, you will play a key role in technical work preparation, focusing on cost calculation. You will assess customer requests for technical feasibility, create cost estimates for components and assemblies, and prepare manufacturing processes in a structured manner. You will work closely with sales, production, purchasing, and quality management.

Your responsibilities
- Processing customer inquiries and creating technical part cost estimates
- Verifying technical feasibility in close coordination with production and quality management
- Obtaining and evaluating material requests from suppliers
- Preparing and creating production documentation for manufacturing, analyzing and reviewing existing cost estimates, and conducting post-calculations to optimize production processes
- Coordinating with production and quality management on technical issues and manufacturing processes

Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, CNC machinist, or in a comparable metalworking profession
- Alternatively, further training as a master craftsman/technician or a completed degree in mechanical engineering
- Ideally, good knowledge of machining and an understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience in technical cost calculation or work preparation is an advantage
- Structured and analytical approach to work
- Independent work style and teamwork skills in collaboration with various departments
