Metal Cutting Mechanic, specialising in turning technology (m/w/d) full-time
Brief overview
As a machining mechanic specializing in turning technology, you will manufacture complex turned parts on modern CNC turning centers, program and set up the machines, and ensure the quality of production through process-accompanying checks.
Your tasks
- Manufacturing predominantly complex turned parts according to drawings on modern CNC turning centers
- Setting up machines and, if necessary, adapting existing programs
- Monitoring and overseeing the ongoing production process
- Adjusting cutting and tool data
- Ensuring work quality through in-process inspections and written documentation of these inspections
Your profile
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as a CNC machinist specializing in turning
- Several years of professional experience as a CNC turner or programmer
- Experience with CNC controls, ideally Mazatrol, Traub, or Fanuc
- Proficient use of measuring and testing equipment
- Willingness to work shifts (generally 2-shift work with weekly rotation)
- Quick comprehension and a conscientious and structured work style
- Responsible, solution-oriented approach
- Independent work style as well as teamwork and good communication skills
- Resilience and the ability to maintain an overview even when handling multiple tasks simultaneously
