Metal Cutting Mechanic, specialising in milling technology (m/w/d) full-time
Brief overview
As a CNC machinist specializing in milling technology, you will manufacture complex milled parts on modern CNC machining centers, set up the machines, adapt programs and ensure the quality of production through process-accompanying checks.
Your tasks
- Manufacturing predominantly complex milled parts according to drawings on modern CNC machining centers
- Setting up machines and, if necessary, adapting existing programs
- Monitoring and overseeing the ongoing production process
- Adjusting cutting and tool data
- Ensuring work quality through in-process inspections and written documentation of these inspections
Your profile
- Successfully completed vocational training as a CNC machinist or precision mechanic specializing in milling
- Several years of professional experience in CNC machining
- Experience with CNC controls, ideally Heidenhain
- Proficient use of measuring and testing equipment
- Willingness to work shifts (generally 2-shift work on a weekly rotation)
- Quick comprehension and a conscientious and structured work style
- Responsible and solution-oriented approach
- Resilience and the ability to maintain an overview even when handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Independent work style as well as teamwork and good communication skills
