Webinar: Life cycle management with ECLASS on November 18, 2026
Digital product passport and lifecycle sub-model in practice
Product information is needed throughout a product's entire life cycle: from raw materials and components used, through manufacturing and packaging, to use, repair, recycling, and disposal. At the same time, regulatory requirements for the availability and interchangeability of this information are increasing – not least due to the Digital Product Passport. The EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR) and the circular economy also require reliable information on materials, recyclability, origin, and disposal.
But how can this diverse information be structured, standardized, and made usable across company boundaries?
This webinar uses practical examples to demonstrate how ECLASS can be used as a semantic foundation for end-to-end life cycle management. The focus is on the Digital Product Passport and the Life Cycle sub-model of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). It shows how product data from different life cycle phases can be consolidated, clearly described, and reused for various applications.
The presentation covers the entire life cycle, from raw materials through product and packaging to end-of-life, and demonstrates how a consistent digital product data model can be created from what are currently often scattered pieces of information.
