HEIDENHAIN KCI and KBI 1300: The inductive rotary encoder for compact motors
The HEIDENHAIN KCI 1300 (singleturn) and KBI 1300 (multiturn) inductive rotary encoders consist of a scanning unit and a screw-fastened circular scale or a press-fitted disk/hub assembly. Key features include low weight, a flat design and a 25 mm hollow shaft. Immune to contamination and magnetic fields, they are the perfect solution for position measurement on compact motors in robots and other applications.
Mounting is both simple and secure thanks to generous tolerances and mechanically safety. With the EnDat 2.2 interface, their data transmission is highly reliable and functionally safe. Dependable operation can be further enhanced by an external temperature sensor for overload protection.
