Static and dynamic force sensors from PCB® enable precise measurements in automotive development, the aerospace industry and process control. In addition to force sensors, piezoelectric ICP® strain sensors are also available. These are used in production to monitor synchronised manufacturing processes. This allows so-called ‘fingerprints’ to be created during crimping, pressing or joining processes, for example, which can be used to reduce tool wear and increase the service life of the machines. In addition, PCB Piezotronics also offers suitable signal processing modules, optionally with a connection option to monitoring and automation systems.
