HMC - HeiMotion Compact servomotors
Our HeiMotion Compact series of brushless servo motors includes eight powerful servo motors and 2 matching motion controller families, equipped with different functionalities. Depending on the motor application, you have the choice in between the controller familie of HCJ. The components have been developed in Germany and are characterized by precision, robustness and excellent efficiency.

HMD - HeiMotion Dynamic Next Generation servomotors
The market is increasingly demanding for drive solutions with high acceleration torques respectively a very dynamic behaviour. To sectors like automation and robotics, also the compactness of the motors is of vital importance. In order to realize diverse applications the motors can be largely individualized. As an answer to the new demand situation Heidrive developed the new series HMD - HeiMotion Dynamic Next Generation, which represents highly dynamic servo motors. The motors of this series are not only endued with an optimized acceleration behaviour but also with particular robustness. The dynamic of the HMD Next Generation motors is achieved by a material optimization on the rotor and a reduction of overall length. Furthermore, a new winding technology has been used for the HMD Next Generation series. The robustness of HMD Next Generation motors was achieved, inter alia, by a full grouting under vacuum. In this way the coil is ideally thermally tied to the laminated core and the motor case. External mechanical influences like shocks or vibrations thus do not affect the stability of the windings. The latter are fully enclosed in the casting compound and thereby optimally protected. Another positive impact of the full grouting is the avoidance of partial discharges and koronas. This results in a longer service life of the drives. As an answer to the demands for 24/48V capable drive systems, with HMD Next Generation a low-voltage series is offered to the market. In addition, the torque gradation has been enlarged at the HMD Next Generation series.

HMDG - HeiMotion Dynamic servomotors with planetary gear
As additional extension to the HeiMotion servo range the HeiMotion Dynamic Next Generation series is now supplemented by compact directly mounted gears with diameters from 60 mm to 100 mm. The modular flanges allow besides the standard combinations even to combine different motor and gear sizes to realize special requirements such as high radial loads or various mounting types on the machine. Since the advantages of the HMD Next Generation motors, such as the further improved dynamics and the more compact design compared to their predecessors, were to be supplemented even further, the focus of the design requirements was on reducing the overall length of the gear and keeping noise to a minimum. The elimination of the clamp coupling and the more precise connection of the sun gear allowed the noise level to be reduced by up to 6 dB. The 1-stage gear unit is available in gear ratios of 1 to 10, and the dual-stage model is available in gear ratios from 9 to 64. Other advantages of direct mounting include the low mass moment of inertia and the light weight.

HMPG - HeiMotion Premium servomotors with planetary gear
The HeiMotion Premium servo motor range has been complemented by compact, directly mounted gear units with diameters from 40 mm to 100 mm for the entire motor series. The modular flanges allow besides the standard combinations even to combine different motor and gearbox sizes to realize special requirements such as high radial loads or various mounting types on the machine. The main focus of the design requirements was on reducing the length and the noise level.

HeiTronX - Decentralized drive solutions
The HMPa/i and HMDa/i motors offer decentralized drive concepts based on 24 / 48 V and 230 V. The integrated servo controller ensures that control cabinets are almost unnecessary and the wiring is significantly reduced. These compact and modern drive concepts can be integrated into a wide variety of automation solutions for flexible, cost-effective applications. The standard protection class is IP65.

Drive Units For Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
The AGV gearboxes were developed specifically for use as wheel hub gearboxes in a wide variety of industrial trucks. This type of application fulfils the high requirements, such as a compact design and a direct connection to the application and the wheel to be driven. In order to achieve the best connection possible between the gearbox and servomotor, the AGV gearboxes have been integrated into our servomotor modular system with the tried-and-tested direct motor attachment. This results in units that are perfectly customised to the requirements of battery-powered vehicles. Direct integration allows both overall length and weight to be saved, which has a positive effect on the portable payload and the dimensions of the entire drive unit. Direct mounting also offers the opportunity to further increase the transmission efficiency and thus the efficiency of the drive unit. The design of the gearbox mounting allows very high radial forces, which correspond directly to the payload to be loaded, to be absorbed while at the same time ensuring high rigidity of the overall unit.

Servo Motors Stainless Steel
Heidrive‘s stainless steel motors have been specially developed for the food, beverage and medical industries, as well as for industries with very high demands on cleanliness, hygiene and corrosion protection. They are also ideally suited for use in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry, as well as for areas that require special cleaning or disinfection. The sealing concept prevents water or dust from penetrating the inside of the motor. No dirt particles adhere to the deadspace-free design. The stainless steel servo motor solution is also perfect for use in areas where high-pressure cleaning is required, as it complies with protection class IP69K. The smooth surface material of the drives has been developed in accordance with EHEDG and FDA guidelines. The motor shaft, housing and flange are made of food-grade stainless steel. The shaft seal is FDA-compliant and also has a long service life even under the harshest environmental conditions. In addition, the motors are maintenance-free and the magnetic circuits of the motors are based on the proven HeiMotion series. Further outstanding features are the motor versions with integrated electronics of the HMSi06 series, because here the servo controller is integrated directly in the motor. In combination with an integrated single or absolute encoder, a very compact drive unit is obtained. A clear advantage of a decentralized controller solution is the significantly lower cabling effort. As standard, the series is equipped with a stainless steel connector qualified for this environment. On request, a cable version can also be implemented in the project business. To round off the drive package perfectly, our planetary gear units are also available in a stainless steel version.

Angular Gearbox Stage
The angular gear stage is available in two transmission ratios (i=1 and i=2). These can be combined with the Heidrive planetary gears from the HMPG and HMDG series in any order, resulting in up to 120 different combinations. Due to the ratio i=2 in the angle, a reduction to a 1-stage planetary gear at the output can be achieved in many applications, which lowers the costs and space requirements significantly. The angle gearbox is made of a lightweight die-cast aluminum body and stands out with its thermally optimized and compact design. In addition to its efficiency-optimized bevel gears with low noise emission, it also offers a reduced torsional backlash. The gear units are maintenancefree due to a lifetime lubrication with grease.

HMP - HeiMotion Premium Servomotors
The servomotors of the HeiMotion Premium series are able to meet the most demanding requirements on the market. The servomotors are available in five different flange sizes (40mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 130mm) with varying overall lengths and various torque. Heidrive is offering the appropriate drive solution and covers a power spectrum from 50 W to 3750 W. The distributed winding technology with proven features facilitates the further development of compact sizes and reduces the production costs of the servomotor series HeiMotion Premium compared to other manufacturers on the market. Moreover, all conventional encoder systems from a resolver to a high-resolution HIPERFACE®-DSL-encoder can be adapted. Further options are possible using the planetary gears with direct mounting or the integration of powertrain electronics into the motor.
