IHD Servo actuator with hollow shaft – Actuator IHD: Smart, compact & highly integrated
Plug and Play via software: The new Smart System IHD from Harmonic Drive® brings together 50 years of experience with precision gears and state-of-the-art motor and drive technology. Experience innovation with our highly integrated drive solution, all without a control cabinet. Integration made easy Highly compact and highly integrated: The IHD system comprises a backlash-free gearbox, a sophisticated servo motor, a dual motor feedback system for position measurement and a powerful motion controller in a ready-to-use drive solution. Easy integration into your application is supported not only by the drive's central hollow shaft, which is predestined to carry a wide variety of media, but also by our specially developed, user-friendly software solution for simple commissioning – plug and play. Compatible and predictive Thanks to thermal optimization of its design, the IHD meets all requirements for high-performance applications in the field of stationary and mobile drive technology. Advanced simulation tools for thermal evaluation of the system have been developed for this purpose. The IHD system has an application processor for future smart applications such as condition monitoring and can be used as a separate platform for customer-specific application programming. The system operates with DC voltages of 24V or 48V. Communication with the machine controller is possible via CANopen, Ethernet and EtherCAT.
Our new Hygienic Design Actuator | Reliable precision in the highest purity
Precision motor made of stainless steel: The new HHA hollow shaft servo actuator combines the latest motor technology with performance-enhanced Harmonic Drive® CSG series gear component set. The Hygienic Design Actuator combines the usual reliability and highest performance of Harmonic Drive® actuators in an exclusively designed stainless steel housing for compliance with hygiene standards. It scores not only with a simple contour to favour cleaning operations, but also with selected surface roughness and a large hollow shaft to pass cables and supply lines. The new Hygiene Design Actuator HHA is manufactured with a European supply chain at the Limburg production site.

A versatile selection of gears: The servo actuators in our BHA range are the perfect combination of highly dynamic, compact synchronous servo motors and zero backlash gears with output bearings. Our servo actuators with hollow shaft are another outstanding choice thanks to their low weight, small volume, excellent torque density, long lifetime and high standards of reliability. Economical design: An economical design and optimised production methods create a precise drive system that’s great value for money and available at standard market lead times – even in applications involving large production volumes. Not only that, but you also have numerous combinations to choose from when you’re selecting the motor winding, motor feedback system, brake, connecting cable and connector. The configuration options available for the motor winding and motor feedback system are flexible, ensuring compatibility with almost every servo controller on the market.

Design Engineer Harmonic Drive Gears for Aviation & Space (m/f/d)
As a designer of harmonic drive gears for Aviation & Space, you are responsible for the design, construction and layout of customer-specific gear units for aerospace. In doing so, you will work together with the customer, the sales department and the development department in compliance with standards typical for the industry. The specification of purchased parts and coordination of the scope of delivery with the supplier as a basis for material procurement is also part of your area of responsibility.
Manager Engineering (m/f/d)
In your position as Manager Engineering (m/f/d), you will take over the technical and disciplinary management of the Engineering team and will be responsible for the key figures for quality, costs and deadlines of projects.
Technical Product Designer / Technical Draftsman (m/f/d)
In your position as technical product designer / technical draughtsman (m/f/d) you will support the constructive processing of customer-specific drive systems and development projects. The generation of 3D models and 2D drawings are part of your area of responsibility.
