Bevel geared motors also achieve higher gear ratios thanks to the plug-in pinion principle and can be used economically and energy-efficiently, with an efficiency of ≥ 96%. The bevel geared motors are available with 2 or 3 reduction stages in foot-mounted, housing-flange, flange-mounted or shaft-mounted versions. A wide range of shaft options, flange sizes and many other options for both the gearboxes and motors are available for the various configurations.
In addition to their wide range of gear ratios, they offer a high power density. Thanks to their narrow design, they can be used in applications where space is limited.
Typical applications for bevel geared motors include airport equipment, the automotive industry, general conveying technology, pallet conveyors, belt conveyors, chain conveyors, lifting equipment, drives for storage and retrieval machines, and agitators.
