3D printed robot grippers in series production save BEULCO €200,000 in 1.5 years.
A few weeks ago, I visited BEULCO, a multi-award-winning family business based in Attendorn, with Ferdinand Bunte. BEULCO GmbH & Co. KG uses parallel grippers and suction grippers for workpiece handling with robots and faced several challenges. "These aren't just toys, they're real production tools at BEULCO GmbH & Co. KG!" emphasizes Lutz Schopen. The new additively manufactured grippers meet the requirements in 99% of applications. Some of the suction grippers have already completed over 200,000 cycles and show no measurable wear. Steel milled Weight: 3194 g Cost: €1,145.00 Delivery time: 4-6 weeks Additive manufactured Weight: 189 g Cost: €100.00 Delivery time: 24 hours Coolants and lubricants do not affect the grippers.
