OTEC Electro Finishing - EF-Vario
The new EF-Vario Electro Finishing Machine stands for outstanding surface quality, maximum efficiency, and compelling cost-effectiveness. Developed for demanding applications, it combines precision, process reliability, and ease of operation at the highest level. Innovative technology, intuitive ergonomics, and high performance enable stable, repeatable results at an exceptionally attractive price-performance ratio. The EF-Vario opens up new potential for efficient, high-quality surface finishing.

OTEC Stream Finishing Machine -SF-Series
SF technology, also known as stream finishing, gives rise to an innovative new generation of mass finishing machines. In this process, the workpieces are clamped in a holder and lowered into a rotating container filled with a grinding or polishing medium. The actual finishing motion is generated by the grinding or polishing medium flowing around the workpiece and in addition by the independent rotation of the workpiece itself. This enables surfaces with values of Ra 0.01 to be obtained, even in the smallest chip flutes. The SF process offers very short finishing times, is easy to automate and at the same time produces highly consistent and reliable results. The differences to other technologies lie in the tremendous processing forces harnessed by the machine. This enables material to be removed more selectively and faster than with any other surface finishing system. The SF was specially designed for applications for which no satisfactory process previously existed, and specifically for applications which call for the highest possible surface qualities in the smallest of geometries. It fulfills the requirements of a wide range of finishing tasks from deburring and mirror-finish polishing to smoothing and polishing, as well as the edge rounding of cutting tools. The SF machines are especially suitable for the finishing of stamping, forming and cutting tools, for finishing components in the automotive sector and for achieving perfect surfaces in the aerospace industry.

OTEC DRAG FINISHING MACHINES - DF-Series
Custom-designed workpiece holders make a significant contribution to the perfect processing results obtained by the DF-Series. They also ensure that the workpieces are mounted as quickly and efficiently as possible and considerably simplify batch processing. In recent years, OTEC has designed over 100 different types of holder. Furthermore, the process container features a water cooling system which keeps the polishing granulate at a constantly low temperature. This considerably extends the life of the process medium and ensures constant process quality, even at consistently high processing speeds.

OTEC Disc Finishing Machine - CF-Series
Processing is carried out in an open drum (the process container) with a base plate in the form of turntable or disc. The workpieces, together with a suitable polishing or grinding granulate, are set in motion by the rotation of the disc to create a toroidal stream inside the stationary drum. The contact between the workpieces and the medium generates a very intense finishing effect which is up to 20 times more efficient than can be achieved with systems such as conventional vibrators. Only we at OTEC have the relevant know-how to finish very fine workpieces (< 0.4 mm) using our zero-gap drum system. This makes these models especially suitable for the deburring, edge rounding and polishing of delicate and intrate workpieces.
