As a down-to-earth and modern machine manufacturer, we from KOLBUS always have the right machine for you - regardless of whether it's foundry technology, state-of-the-art machining technology, sheet metal forming or component assembly.

Incidentally, KOLBUS has been in the mechanical engineering business for more than 140 years.

Our customers are national and international companies from the mechanical engineering, plant engineering and transport industries.

Our primary expertise lies in the manufacture of components, single pieces and small batches. These include sprockets, chain wheels, shafts, axles, bushes and sleeves as well as crossbars, frames, rails, guides and housings for special machine construction. We realise customer requirements precisely.

With the focus on efficient production technology, we rely on networked processes, ergonomic assembly stations with modern assistance systems and short distances This is our demanding standard that applies to mechanical engineering at our site in Rahden/Westphalia.

We offer you everything from a single source - from the prototype to the casting to the finished part. Of course, we also take care of the entire procurement management for you, from material procurement, drawing processing and surface treatment through to assembly.
We reduce the number of interfaces and order lead times in your procurement process.

The KOLBUS foundry works to over 90% of its capacity for external casting customers. These customers particularly appreciate our reliability and delivery reliability.
