Ex- and UL-certified Lumiglas components are used in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing industries as well as being favoured for applications in the oil and gas industry.

Process observation and visual control systems “What’s happening in the bioreactor or in the vacuum drier?” “Is the process in the agitator or filter system functioning properly?” “How can I best monitor my production processes in closed vessels?” The patented crescent-shaped Lumiglas luminaire for providing a combination of light and sight glass was the innovative answer to these questions as early as 1960, laying the cornerstone for the Lumiglas division. Nowadays, the extensive Lumiglas portfolio covers the entire range of sight glass luminaires - Ex and non-Ex, halogen and LED – and includes a wide variety of sight glass fittings, sight glass discs and camera systems for potentially explosive environments. Lumistar Luminaire USL 06LED Ex
The Lumistar USL 06LED Ex luminaire is manufactured to the highest safety standards. The processing fulfils the requirements of the European Directive 2014/34/EU. ATEX certified. Optimal for illumination of boilers, tanks, agitators, silos and other generally enclosed normally containers and reactors. Lumistar Luminaire USL 03LED
The Luminaire Lumistar USL 03LED is a space-saving sight glass luminaire for universal use in industrial areas. With it‘s compact design, it‘s perfect for all applications where space is a problem and conventional sight glass luminaires can‘t be used. Lumistar USL 03LED ensures safe monitoring of tanks, pipelines, boilers, reactors and other closed containers with contents such as liquids or gases. The robust construction and resistance to aggressive media such as acids, alkalis and oils guarantees a long service life and reliability in demanding environments. The space-saving sight glass luminaire can be used in many industries such as chemical, oil and gas, food and beverage.
